Committees

Here is a list of the current committees of NUCA of Kentucky

Advocacy
The Advocacy Committee focuses on governmental regulations at both federal and state levels. The committee is charged with keeping the members informed about issues that pertain to the indusry as well as advocating for the industry in Frankfort and Washington, DC. The committee also develops relationships with enforcement agencies as well as creates coalitions with allied associations.

Education, Safety & Training
Education, safety and training are key elements of the industry and this committee strives to keep members up to date on safety and training issues through educational meetings, both virtually and in person.

Events
This committee focuses on networking/social/fundraising events for the chapter as well as works with the Education Committee to produce six educational events throughout the year. Annual events include a golf tournament, a clay shoot and the annual holiday party.

Membership/Communications
This committee is charged with recruiting new members as well as keeping current members informed. The group is responsible for a monthly newsletter and regular postings to the organization's social media platforms.

Workforce Development
This committee focuses on efforts to provide the next generation of workers for the industry.
