Who Can Join NUCA Kentucky Chapter?
Company memberships are granted to contractors and suppliers involved with excavation and utility work.  We welcome companies from, or working in, Kentucky involved with both wet and dry utilities, as well as site development.

Who Are We?
NUCA Kentucky Chapter is an affiliate of the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA).  We work to represent and protect our companies and the industry, expand safety education, business opportunities and community across the industry in Kentucky, and give “voice” to the vital infrastructure work we do.  Our member companies build and maintain our region’s vast infrastructure network of water, sewer, gas, electric, telecommunications and water treatment plants, as well as perform commercial/residential site development.

Excavators/Utility Contractors

For companies engaged in excavation, site preparation, earth moving, or the construction/rehabilitation of utility systems including, but not limited to, storm sewers, sanitary sewers and drainage systems, water lines, cables (underground communication and electric), ducts, conduits, gas lines, tunneling, boring, trenchless construction, treatment systems and pump stations. Specialty Contractors: For companies that employ labor on the jobsite, but do not bid or perform any utility construction or excavation work. Examples include landscaping, concrete, paving, demolition, dewatering, site cleanup, video inspection and more.

Dues are based on your company location's annual excavation/utility construction revenue:
Less than $2M - $1,445

$2M to $5M - $2,355

$5M to $10M - $3,000

$10M to $25M - $3,640

More than $25M - $4,720

 

Speciality Contractors

For companies that employ labor on the jobsite, but do not bid or perform any utility construction or excavationwork. Examples include landscaping, concrete, paving, demolition, dewatering, site cleanup, video inspection and more.

Dues for Specialty Contractors are $1,300

Institutional Members
Any school, governmental entity (local, state or federal), or utility provider
involved in the utility construction and/or excavation industry.

Dues for Institutional Members are determined on if you are a governmental entity/ school/ non-profit or if you are a non governmental utility provider: 

Government/ School/ Non-profit-  $525
Non Govermental Utility Provider - $1,025

Associates/Supplier Companies

For individuals, firms and companies involved in the excavation and utility construction industry as a supplier of equipment, materials or services to contractors.

Dues are based on your company locations annual revenue:

Less than $2M - $920
$2M to $10M - $1,300

More than $10M - $1,730
