NUCA of KY presents its awards annually at the holiday event.
Ditchdigger of the Year
Presented annually to a contractor member who has made a significant contribution to NUCA of KY and the underground utility construction and excavation industry. This contractor member devotes countless hours to the association by attending events (State & National), being active in committees and or sitting on the board of directors, while also advocating for the industry regarding governmental affairs, safety, education and workforce development.

Associate Member of the Year

Excellence in Action Award
This award is presented to a non-NUCA member who has made a significant contribution to NUCA of KY and the underground utility construction and excavation industry. This recipient is recommended by our members and has made an impact in the industry by working closely with them and or also attending NUCA of KY events such project previews and or educational sessions.

Recruiter of the Year Award
